The increased demand for bespoke evening wear launched Claudia into the South African market as a freelance fashion designer in 2016. 

She understands the importance of having a garment designed and custom-made to capture her client’s unique personality. Her dresses are delicately crafted from the finest fabrics, with hand-finished details, often including intricate hand-beading. From Formal Dances to Engagement Parties to Mother-of-the-bride and everything in between, every dress is designed and made with the same attentive precision, care and love. 

“The woman and the fabric are my two main points of inspiration. I love taking a fabric, cutting it up, or adding finishing techniques in order to recreate it in an entirely unique way. Seeing my clients’ reactions as their dress progresses from a 2D fabric to a 3D gown, is always a thrilling experience. And knowing I was a part of making my client’s special event a little bit more magical, makes me love what I do even more every day.”
