Born to Italian parents, Claudia D’Agnolo grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, but has always had a heartfelt connection to her Italian heritage. Family life and frequent trips to Italy instilled a love of art, design and fashion from a young age. In 2017, Claudia graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design from Villioti Institute, South Africa, and had already started working as a freelance evening-wear designer for private clients. Claudia went on to complete her MA in Fashion Design: Womenswear at the prestigious Italian Fashion School, Istituto Marangoni, in London. After graduating in July 2019, she founded her Atelier focusing on Couture, Evening-Wear and Bridal Wear. She is currently based between South Africa and Italy.

I also love adding a sensual touch to garments, to balance out the femininity. I believe women should feel beautiful, confident and radiant when they wear my designs, all while still feeling comfortable. Getting feedback and beautiful messages of appreciation from my clients fills me with such joy and gratitude.
